individuals and communities during the American Civil War in a lecture
scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday in Room T102 of GCC's Conable Technology
Building, 1 College Rd.
"Among the Many Fires: Trials, Opportunities and Experiences of Native Americans in the Civil War" will look at how American Indians capitalized on the war to advance their agendas within the broader American society.
The free lecture is part of GCC's ongoing initiative
